Today, we will briefly introduce the calculation method commonly used in international express delivery. The weight of goods in international express delivery is calculated based on the billing weight, and the billing weight is determined by the actual weight or volume weight. The actual weight is the actual weight of the goods, And the volume weight is (length x width x height)/6000 (length, width, and height are measured in centimeters, and the four major express delivery companies TNT, UPS, FedEx, and DHL are divided by 5000), and there are generally two types of billing:

1、 First weight+continued weight (generally applied to goods with relatively small actual weight, such as within 21KG)

(1) In the international logistics industry, the billing unit for shipping is generally based on every 0.5KG of billing weight. Take the first 0.5KG as the initial weight, and each additional 0.5KG will be considered as a continuation weight. The cost of the first weight is usually higher than the cost of the second weight.

(2) The price of small goods is generally higher than that of large goods, and nearly 21KG of goods can be charged based on the price of large goods

2、 Billable weight (over 21KG)

(1) Billable weight * unit price per kilogram

(2) The actual weight of international express delivery exceeds 40KG, and the length exceeds 270CM or (width+height) * 2+length exceeds the maximum limit of 419CM

(3) If the actual weight of a single piece exceeds 21.5KG or (width+height) * 2+length, exceeding 260CM or (width+height) * 2+length, exceeding 310CM, there may be additional fees.
